Weekend with Clifford the big red dog
For a preschool project we got a backpack with a notebook, crayons, camera, and Clifford. He spent the weekend with us and we were supposed to write in the notebook all about it and take no more than 3 pictures. Kiera and I had a great time incorporating Clifford into our weekend. Together, we made pizza, went ice skating (which turned into sledding because the ice rink melted), and took a trip to the mall playground. Everything went great except Kiera used up ALL the pictures on the camera! I don't have any copies of those, but here are a couple from our camera.

How do they know?
Kiera never lets me sing in the car, and I love to sing to music, even kids music. I can't help it, it just comes out. She often remarks on the way to pre-school (30 min. drive) "Don't sing!". The conversation goes something like this:
Me: ...singing or whistling, without realizing it...
Kiera: Mommy, Don't sing!
Me: Please? I love this song.
Kiera: No!
Me: Just this one?
Kiera: No!
Me: Sigh...
Yesterday...I was very sad, and had been having a very rough 2 days.
Out of the blue Kiera says "You can sing today Mommy."
This made me smile and love her so much I wanted to pull over and hug her. I don't think I could love this girl any more than I already do, but she often amazes me and remindes me of her love for me too. :)
